Miami Circle: Giant Smiley Face

In 1998, a mysterious circle of holes was discovered at the mouth of the Miami River in downtown Miami. The historically challenged city under great pressure from “New Age” wackos and obscure Indian tribes, cut a check of 26.7 million dollars for the developer to stop developing his twin tower luxury condo on the site so that the circle of holes could be preserved for all time. Eight years later, archeologist Bobby Bermudez, through an ardous process involving computer mapping, Mayan studies, and channeling, was able to ascertain that the Miami Circle is a “monumental ceremonial mask to the pre-Columibian Tequesta’s god of Mirth;” in essence, a giant Smiley Face.
